Join us for wellness seminars, fitness classes, special services and even a visit from Marshfield Clinic's Mobile Health Screening Unit for mammograms. "Morning Cup of Chi" is a meditation class with Sensei Sahnya Susan Thom. In this class you will learn basic easy-to-apply mindfulness meditation practices from seated to movement exercises to increase health, emotional regulation and happiness. Participants will learn techniques in stress reduction, daily gratitude and breath-work. Please bring a notebook, pen, open heart and cushion/pillow. This class is transformational by giving you the tools for a higher quality of life and more every day enjoyment.

10 a.m. – Mammogram Screening

Marshfield Clinic's Mobile Health Screening Unit is a 40-foot-screening van that has provided digital mammography services to thousands of patients since 2007. All screening services completed in the mobile unit are done so in a confidential space just as they would be at a clinic. Women 18 years and older can receive mammograms in the mobile health screening unit, which will be located in the Evensong Spa parking lot. For this event, women are encouraged to schedule a mammogram well in advance of Jan. 10 to assure availability and coverage by insurance providers.

In this class you will learn how to defend yourself and your loved ones against common physical attacks. You will also learn prevention, verbal defusing skills and anatomical targets. Sensei Thom is a 6th Degree Black Belt Martial Arts master and has been teaching Self Defense for more than 20 years. This class is informative, fun and will equip students with basic easy-to-learn self-defense skills. This class will also cover bullying, cyber bullying, setting healthy boundaries in relationships and workplace violence. Please bring a notebook and pen and wear clothing you can move in.

2 p.m. – Reflexology with Erin Witthun

This educational seminar will introduce you to reflexology and its benefits. Reflexology is a form of bodywork that focuses primarily on the feet. It is believed that there are reflex areas on the hands and feet that correspond to organs, glands and other parts of the body. Reflexologists believe that applying pressure to these reflex areas sends signals to the corresponding organs and release chemicals believed to reduce pain and stress.
