Sahnya Thom

Green Border

Sahnya Thom is a 6th Degree Black Belt Martial Artist, Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Author, Speaker, and Ninja Your Life Transformation Coach. She helps clients thrive physically, mentally, and spiritually through unique coaching methods that bridge her expertise in mindfulness/meditation, psychology, the timeless wisdom of Martial Arts, and personal fitness training. Many look for her expertise during times of change and life transition.

She has worked in a variety of contexts with diverse audiences including schools, businesses, retreats, sports teams, and has helped people suffering with PTSD, cancer, diabetes, MS, depression, anxiety, and the grieving process. Many describe her as a "breath of fresh air" and an edu-tainer. She is a science nerd with a poetic heart who loves to make people laugh while delivering game-changing content!

Mindfulness & Meditation Power Tools: Sahnya Thom • 9:30 - 11:30 a.m

Sahnya will guide you in learning and practicing mindfulness skills in a safe, supportive, and compassionate learning environment at Evensong Spa. You will learn step-by-step how to practice mindfulness into your daily life and rediscover your resilience, your “bounce back muscles.” You will recognize this basic goodness and healthy balance has always been there lying beneath life’s changes. We just have to learn how to “touch it.”

East Meets West: Sahnya Thom • 9:30 - 11:30 AM

Come on a journey with Sahnya to explore how you can blend and integrate deep spirituality into our fast-paced “plugged in” lives. In this workshop, Sahnya will share her personal journey with how applied Buddhist concepts, embodied presence, and working the 8-fold path has helped with anxiety and stress reduction and created more beauty, meaning, and purpose in her life. She will also demonstrate and integrate the timeless wisdom of her 35+ years of Martial Arts training to enrich your learning experience. With over 20+ years of meditation experience and Buddhist studies, Sahnya wishes to share these nuggets of wisdom with you so you can organically heal and transform in the New Year.

No spa access is available on Saturday and Sunday without a service scheduled.

Holiday Glow Facial - In this illuminating facial, a combination of Bright Skin Exfoliating drops along with a stimulating blueberry detoxifying enzyme is used to promote cell turnover. Increased circulation plumps and brightens the skin while an avocado and kale mask rich in vitamins nourish and aid in collagen production. A facial massage follows with eye cream as a lip balm and a scrumptious Sugar Plum Moisturizer revives your complexion, leaving a refreshed appearance.

Spruced Up Body Relaxer - Using a blend of brown sugar and Kentucky Bourbon, the body is gently massaged to increase circulation and rejuvenate. Steamed towels remove the mixture followed with a back, neck and shoulder massage with Sweet Cream Body Milk to ease muscle tension, leaving you in a deep state of relaxation.

Spiced Plum Drizzle - Take a moment away from outside cold temperatures that parch the skin. Enjoy a full body scrub using fine sea salt and whipped honey with a high concentration of Vitamin E to exfoliate and soften the skin. Warm towels remove the scrub and you are treated to an application of warm Plum Chiffon Shea Butter Balm to seal in hydration.

Comfort & Joy Pedicure - Find comfort in a warm vanilla cinnamon soak to soften dry skin and feet. Next, enjoy a scrub with hints of clove and nutmeg to exfoliate and leave skin silky smooth. Drift away during a soothing foot and calf massage with a warmed Plum Chiffon Shea Butter, sure to leave you feeling cozy. Nails are polished or buffed to a shine, ready to dance the night away.
